Ledaig Sinclair Series Rioja Cask Finish is a vibrant, heavily peated single malt crafted at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. The debut expression in the 'Sinclair Series' that's created in homage to distillery founder John Sinclair. This release pays tribute to the legendary Spanish galleon laden with jewels that sank in Tobermory Harbour over 400 years ago.
Matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished for 18 months in hand-selected Spanish Rioja wine casks, it combines powerful peat smoke and maritime saltiness with rich red wine notes of grape, sweet berries, and oak spice.
