raspberry, hints of strawberries, and creamy aftertaste.
WHAT MAKES GRACE DU ROI MCC ROSE GOLD SPECIAL?
Our MCC is made from chardonnay grapes that are grown in the dry Winelands surrounding Paarl. These low-yield vineyards are naturally watered, and give a smaller, more flavoursome berry than irrigated blocks. In the traditional Méthode Champenoise style, our MCC spends 9 months fermenting in the bottle, to create an
exquisite sparkling wine in the French style. The chardonnay grapes are harvested at night while still firm on the branch, and in cooler conditions to maintain their
freshness. They are fermented with only the slightest contact with French oak, creating a beautifully structured, elegant wine.
