Cask 1650 is an exquisite 20 Year Old Single Malt finished in the finest Pedro Ximinez Sherry Cask. Bottled at cask strength 55.5% abv.

TASTING NOTES Colour: Dark Ebony

Nose: Initial notes raisins and sultanas, dates, with juicy, syrupy sweetness from the Pedro Ximénez perfectly leads to milky coffee and liquorice.

Palate: Robust, chewy and rich, with initial notes of stewed fruits like raisins, dried dates that leads onto pears, overly ripened soft red apples, candied orange peel, dark chocolate and Kirsch soaked Black Forest Gateau.

Finish: Sweet, juicy and mouth-filling. Flavours of mocha, milk chocolate, leather,Then raisins, prunes, apricot, roasted nuts. Think Christmas pudding drizzled in fig syrup, giving way to an array of warming winter spices, liquorice, stem ginger, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon, all caressed in old leather, cocoa and wonderful dark muscovado treacle.
